Groom's Wife

The Groom invited the men from his village for a feast. They were sitting at the table drinking bear and the Groom was treating everyone to some meat. The men were complementing him for the excellently cooked meat and the Groom was pleased.

He was talking about his wife, how great she was and how everyone liked her. The men did not really understand what the Groom was talking about.

"I have found out, recently," the Groom said with a hoarse voice, "That all of you, strangely enough, had been secretly seeing my wife."

"And this is why, I have gathered all of you here today," he continued, "I did not keep good enough eye on her and that is on me."

"But tell me," the Groom grinned menacingly, "Doesn't she taste great?" ...
