Cursed Old House
Share
There is an old abandoned and overgrown house at the edge of the small town. The doors and windows are boarded up. Locals stay away from it, claiming it to be haunted.
There was an old man, blind and grumpy, living in it. One cold winter he had died. The neighbors did not bury him and only nailed down the boards on the doors and windows. It is said that the old man still haunts the estate, pleading to be freed.
A young man wanted to prove that the house is just old and empty and there is no such thing as ghosts and monsters. He took the board off of the door and walked inside.
And as he stepped into the darkness of the house and turned around, the outside light burned into his eyes. It was too painful to see the light, it was more comfortable to stay in the darkness. He could not step outside, he was forever trapped inside. The local men boarded back up the door and left the house be.
I did not believe the stories at first but when I was there with my friends we heard it, the cries of the young man inside:
"It hurts me to see the light, I like it in the dark. For many, many years I only think about the food. I wish I could leave this Cursed Old House!"
